When warlord Thulsa Doom raided the village of a young Conan events were set in motion that would eventually see that young Conan become Conan The Destroyer. Conan, whom was sold into slavery and later forced to fight as a gladiator, honed his skills with the sword and built his strength with nothing but revenge in mind.
Conan the Destroyer Comics depict a slightly different Conan than was shown in the hit Conan movie starring Arnold Schwarzenneger. Conan comics quickly became a cult classic and still have a very loyal following today. Conan the Barbarian was published by Marvel Comics from 1970 until 1996 and Dark Horse Comics continued the Conan saga starting in 2000.
